You matter too — father wellbeing
Most father guides treat you like a delivery driver for snacks. We don't.
- You are going to be tired in a new way. That's the cost of being present. Sleep when you can — short naps count.
- Talk to one other father each week. Not in groups. Just one. Honest conversation, not bravado.
- Hold one small thing for yourself. Football, gym, a book — don't lose it. A father with nothing of his own loses his footing fast.
- It's normal to feel disconnected from the baby before it arrives. That comes later. Don't punish yourself for it now.
Your steadiness is the gift. It can't run on empty.
